Last weekend was good. We went to Vienna for the weekend. No kids, dogs and 5* hotel. Pampering is always nice.

Family health issues and a house move which was a nightmare all contributed to the shittiest of years so far...

I'm seeing many people saying that 2016 was not a great year for them.

For me it was pretty good. Business on the rise, spent quality time with friends and family, nobody died, the heat is on in the house. Can't complain.

We live really far one from each other and we get to see rarely. But I had a couple of weeks free and spent quality time with them.

my best day is kinda private but the broad strokes are another day at the beach

looking back I'm amazed that a year filled with so much pain and fear and rage for me had so many exquisite moments. a lot of experiences I'm so fucking lucky to have had.

know a lot of peeps had it rough this year, honestly surprised at how often i'm reading that. so fucking feel ya

feel like I'm leaving this year a very different person than who i was when I entered it. think that's a good thing, I'm definitely a stronger and hopefully kinder person because of everything that happened. time will tell but I think so

here's to kicking the azz of anything life throws at us

sorry to hear some of the GFYers have had a shit year, some saying money, some health issues. Hoping you all get through to 2017 with a smile on your face. Over the past few years, health issues have also hit mine & Gary's families, however, with strength, most of the issues have proven strong families hold together & people can carry on. This year's been a good year as all of ours since 1998 when my partner & I become 1. We've met many friends & business has thrice improved. I'm grateful to every decent person I've spoke with & met & wish both happiness for those I've met & for 2017 to be the same, continuing to flourish.

I've a few best days, from hearing great news from my mother, her cancer now almost gone, or preferably, my best day this year was my anniversary with Gary, 18 yrs, as I had an amazing day out. As we, my partner & I always do. However, this year, was more relaxed than usual, more out there. We even won in the casino after a long ass day & night...
