Can seriously say that the recent Trump / China tweets are a good thing...

"Did China ask us if it was OK to devalue their currency" and "build a massive military complex?" he asked. "I don't think so!"

On that actual tweet; why the fuck should China ask Trumpy what they can and cannot do with their own currency ?, and when did the US start planning their military requirements with Beijing ?

And on Trump in general, sorry guys but blurting out brain-farts on Twitter does not aid your negotiating position with your international partners.

It just makes you look like a complete dick.

So Trump guys can witter on able whinging Libs, but fuck me not one of you can seriously argue that this nonsense is good for anyone.

While I am not a fan of what China does with its currency I agree with what you are saying here. I also think that using a casual public communication method in another language to another very different culture is an insanely dangerous approach when it comes to serious things. Trump's English, or at least the way he has to speak so that his supports get it, is third rate at best. As for Trumpers, of course they can. Just wait.

Twitter could be an interesting tool for a President to communicate. Unfortunately it tends amplify the stoopid in folks that just blurt out stuff without thinking (or caring) about the consequences.

So what do you want from your POTUS when dealing with the sensitive global geo-political issues ?

a) Do you want your POTUS to get the new international deals that will bring the jobs back ?

b) Do you want your POTUS to be respected by the world leaders that he has negotiate with to make these deals.

c) Do you really think these Tweets help your POTUS deliver a and b ?

The US only accounts for 20% of China's exports, a similar amount goes to the EU, and 50% goes to other countries in Asia.
