    Four people resign from a VA hospital after a vet is found with maggots in his wound. Some VA hospitals do good work others don't. All of them should provide excellent care. Demand of your Congressman that something be done about providing the best care possible for Vets.

              A simple solution is to simplify the hiring and firing of VA staff including the director. Some VA hospitals provide good care and some don't, primarily due to incompetent upper echelon leadership at the hospitals including the hospital director.

                  The director and one of the top doctors on staff (his wife) of a somewhat local VA hospital go to the same schutzhund group we do & he has some horror stories from when he was "just staff" that other directors would let slide as well as how they'd just take the salary and not do the administrative work without much punishment.

                  The VA system shouldn't be subject to politics as much as possible similar to the FBI. The continued good health of those who've served is much more important than rewarding surrogates who said nice things about you during the campaign trail.
