              Carolina Reaper is the hottest one. IMHO. Seen a lot f videos how the guys eat it, but don't want to try by myself. The Thai peppers are hot enough for me. I don't need more.

                  I've grown and bred hot peppers for 10+ years. Many, including me, believe the Carolina Reaper is a scam. It's identical to the 7 Pot Primo (a scorpion variety) created years earlier. It was merely renamed by Ed Currie, and he ran off and spent a bunch of money to get Guinness involved. Remember, the Scoville is an average reading of 30 or so peppers - you can get hotter ones, but often much cooler. There are like 30 peppers that are 1.5+ million Scoville - so it doesn't really matter. The Reaper also tastes like shit. Sauces (unless made of extract) are always less because of the other ingredients.

                  There are new supposed "hottest" peppers out there - Pepper x and Dragon's Breath (both bullshit).
