depends on where you get them from. i find when i buy a real tree from home depot or a big box type store, they don't last. buy fresh from a tree farm and they'll last a lot longer and you can put them up earlier.

nice to hear you're having a real tree, they smell fantastic! We've had them a few times, but mostly artificial, probably artificial again this year.

We usually put our decorations up a week or 2 into December & take it down just into January

Less to deal with real trees are messy don't have the time nor want to deal with that this year!

Love the smell of a real tree.

We usually put up in 1st or second week of December.

We stopped having a tree for years, but had to start again when we had a kid. Christmas is for the kids.

Spot on. It's for kids. I don't have any and hate Xmas really bad.

No tree, years ago went to Indiana and cut my own down but now lazy and always go out for Holiday's now so too much work for just a few people to see it. If Holiday's ever shift to my place then I'll do it again.

We just put ours up (artificial) over the weekend. Nice.

One of our cats though, loves to make her her home. She goes inside and crawls to the top to hang out there, knocking the decorations off in the process.
