If I am seeing what movies are free on youtube it's desperation time -- that's why
The level of quality, not image quality, is down to who produces it. Get a bored shooter, shooting bored girls, or doing the same thing over and over again. It will not work.

The job is to sell the girl as a person men want to fall in love with. No one here will say that's impossible. Which is better than a clip from the scene or an image.

We have loads of images on GFY, how much better would a video of the girl be?

The problem is once someone gives away 100x10 minutes of the same scene. By just changing the bed/sofa/girl. This isn't good enough to jerk off to and good at revealing who the girl is.

Or just keep going down the road we are, that for most is a road down.

S4B I knew you wouldn't get this, it's out of your skills set.

Blowout deal. 880 videos, 2,400 image sets, plus many RAW videos. $500.

It insisted a 1% conversion rate was acceptable, and now only bitched because it's 0.0001% or whatever it is.

A few years ago there were TV shows about behind the scenes on a big porn. The TV crew would follow porn cast and crew to the location and film behind the scenes footage. Models at play, resting, interviews etc. This is an excellent way to sell the performers and the movies. It's softcore so no problem putting it on FB, Vimeo and linking to blogs.

The catch is having people capable of motivating models to be seductive enough to make surfers want to pay for the movies. There will be a fallout to piracy. Only an idiot would put the hardcore version on a porn Tube.

Another catch is most are clueless how to do this. I did it back in the 90s and sold it to Cable TV in the UK, took some planning and thinking. The good thing is this will provide hours and hours of promotional content that's engaging the viewer. Who will want to see the hardcore version.
Oh my God ...and I used to admire you, but I have NEVER heard a stupid suggestion as this... Do you for one minute believe that my crew ( who makes movies for Disney when they do not work on my shit and go to church on Sunday) want to be featured on some porn ( soft or not) porn site?? Alzheimer must truly be setting in...

            Peeps:

You shouldn't trash Paul on this. He offers some really good advice here. Lots of n00bs getting into adult don't know the first thing about getting anywhere, how to start, what to do, what to try, etc.

Paul's advice about TV shows is spot-on. While customers like hardcore porn, they also fantasize about ongoing relationships, real or not, with their favourite models. TV-friendly and PG content really helps nurture this kind of thing.

            Good post Paul!

            D'oh!

It's not the price-point. It's the VALUE for the price. Value can be quantity for sure, but it's also about quality, and, get ready for it, emotional satisfaction.

Think about it like this: A customer wants to jerk-off to the model(s) he likes of course. So then, why does he like that model? Sure it's her tits and ass, but it's also her face, and her personality. Don't discount this. People may connect based on looks, but they stay connected thanks to personalities. If you can fulfill all of these desires, the total value of your content to your customers (or more specifically, to your models fan base) is now worth more.

Yet he says "Price point depends on how much the site offers." So he says price all depends on quantity of content or he's giving such a vague answer as for it to have no value as an answer at all.

                Paul... bla,bla,bla
Guess who got the sale today -- and why?

I can get into watching quality older movies too. I can pay for the pleasure.

I could watch crap on youtube that is mostly awful quality uploads that are free.

If Pornoflix offered these paysites decent licensing royalties are you telling me that they would say no -- that they are making too much money. Netflix and Amazon Prime are making money in spite of Youtube free content. Get with the program already.

From what I understand, Paul is not suggesting building a site based on this soft content. Instead use that content as your teasers to upload to tubes, facebook, vimeo, everywhere to drive traffic to your site. The guys will fall in love with the girls and want to see more AND you're not giving away your expensive content to competing platforms.

Remember the old E! shows with bikini models showing you neat travel destinations? Now what if you knew those girls also had porn videos. You would zip on over to her video once you finished (ahem) her bikini content.

Oh I do get it... It's just nothing special and it has all kinds of limitations...

Every producer thinks about what to- and what not to show on... for example... tubes...
You think you're special... you're just mediocre Paul...

So Paul offers a way for paysties to make more sales yet it makes no sense. Do a TV show? Do some BTS clips for YouTube? Brilliance.

Of course these things have been tried (and continue to be tried - I have a Parody BTS site coming next year). So what?

Paul thinks the #1 problem are the models. They don't know how to be seductive! They don't know how to get men to fall in love with them!! You do realize solo girl sites would be the area where the model "needs" to make her customer fall in love with her, right? Ask Robbie and Claudia-Marie. THEY get it. But how THEY market their site would not work for a generic porn site, or even a niche site with multiple models.

Ohh why do I bother? LOL Carry on.
