    How to be the best husband or boyfriend this Christmas

    Every year my gifts are a big hit with my wife. We open up our gifts with her family every Christmas, and I look like freaking superman because she loves everything I get her.

    Here is my big secret.... Once or twice a month I'll take my wife out shopping. "Hey honey, let's go to the mall". Then I follow her around like a little puppy dog watching everything she picks up. The following day I'll swing back out to the mall and buy her a few things she liked, and I'll stash them away. By Christmas time I'll have 15-20 gifts from her and I don't need to do any shopping.

    Works like a charm every year.

                      Yeah I'm not gonna do that, looking like a super hero for one day isn't worth the pain of going to the mall with my wife every few weeks throughout the year.

                      We didn't do Christmas gifts last year, we took a 2.5 week trip to Thailand through the holidays as a gift to each other. This year we are going to Scotland to be with our family for the holidays for the first time in 7 years, that's our gifts and saves me from going anywhere near a damn mall at this time of year.

                                                                      Every year used to a struggle for me... What's worse is I get hit with Christmas, her birthday, and then Valentine's day all in the space of just over a month. My wife and I met on Valentine's day so it's like Christmas here.

                                                                      Everyone is running around stressing out over what to buy their loved ones and I'm like "I was done early in November".

                                                                          No dice. I pay attention and all I get is "I saw this purse I liked today" which doesn't narrow it down much. I now her tastes and it still doesn't narrow it down enough.
