I pop on the random porn server here and there to fix some horrific MechBunny spaghetti code for friends once in awhile and I was just curious if there is any intention of adult hosts planning on catching up with what mainstream hosts are offering?

You all make me feel like it's 2004. Any sincere good hosts out there anymore? Yea, I get that you can configure a server for me however I want, but I don't want to wait 3 days and then another 3 weeks for you to fix your shitty configuration because your team is made of mostly $250/month uneducated Croatian techs.

I want control, I want a custom client UI that isn't this same outdated cpanel horseshit for retards. I want to scale in seconds by sliding a button, I want to easily setup node.js apps or have a host stfu when I ask them to upgrade php to the newest version.

Anyway, just curious if there is anyone out there like that yet or is it all still garbage?

Unless they can get the software off the shelf it's too big an investment would be my guess - I can't imagine how much a 'custom client ui' like the one you are talking about would cost - I doubt any of the adult hosts have a big enough market share to do it...

Also I doubt many adult webmasters would know what node.js is if it slapped them around the face - They want one click install Wordpress or even better they want the tech support to do it for them.....

I have still have some sites on GoDaddy from 10 years back when I started out, that shit is so bad it's hilarious. creating a new database, takes between 30 minutes and 6 hours, GoDaddy wont update php unless I upgrade package, I needed to add an email alias, couldn't be done because I was still in their old hosting/email environemt, would need to upgrade and pay for their outlook solution, but unfortunately that was not available for my location!?
