How to transfer domain in GoDaddy?

I am purchasing a domain name and want to know how I can transfer it to godaddy.

When i go to Godaddy admin it says transfers but that seems to be if I am transfering a domain from another domain provider (a domain i already own)...

anyone know?

Are you talking about transfering a domain from godady to another godaddy account? If so there is some kinda option called "Change ownership" .. I believe that does it

--first get the domainowner to change the mail at the other registrar to your mail (if thats not possible, just request a transfer at godaddy with his mail, mails need to match)
--let you send the confirmation the other on get,and confirm the transfer
2-3 days later it's done, now put the details, mails, adresses you want in there

thats the way i just got a domain out from networksolutions to godaddy, and it worked.
