I have been with my wife over twenty years, married for seventeen years, we have a sixteen year old kid. I could not imagine not seeing my kid every day.

I have some friends who have left their wives and do not have daily contact with their kids and it's interesting - they aren't as close to their kids as they should be, don't know their friends, their teachers....

I would never wish divorce on anyone, but sometimes getting one is better than letting your kids grow up in a toxic parental household.

Yes and yes. Also went to court 5 times and all other sort of shit. The ex owes me almost 100k and I don't see my kid much.

I don't even want to think about how much the whole marriage thing cost me. But I am pretty sure I couldve hired a high class prostitute every single day for the time I was married and it'd have been cheaper.. And probably a whole lot more fun fucking!

Two of my close friends are only with their wife's because of the kids they have. Both have told me if it wasn't for the kids, they would be outta there.

In a way it makes sense but at the same time it's just not a nice situation to be in and surely can't have a good ending...

I grew up without a father.I sure as hell wouldn't put my kids through the same thing. Although if you both are miserable,raising your kids isn't a healthy environment either
