Model Centro Affiliate Program Question

Does anyone have any experience with them modelcentro.com's affiliate program?

I am considering sending some member traffic to janajordan.com.

So... if anyone has any experience, please advise.

I usually send traffic to sites in which I might have shot the same girl. So when I post my content, I like to link off to her present site, in an attempt to make an affiliate sale. In this case, JanaJordan.com

What I have seen in the past few years, is that sending good, already swiped thier card member traffic to some of these sites results in a...

BIG FUCKING GOOSE EGG!

And I am tired of it.

So... I wanted to know if people are making money when they send traffic to your sites.

ModelCentro backend's amazing. You can sign up to one site & have content, many other models & communicate with both the model or MC anytime. You have a request button on the menu, allowing you to speak direct to the model, asking them for the content you need for your sales & yes, ModelCentro sites do sell extremely well!

My best affiliate's at 1:40 < straight up!

Sign up to Jana & then check out some of the other models too! You'll be making the right choice

I replied to that email

Looking through your sites a little more... I see that there are two affiliate sites.

mcprofits (your sig)
affiliates.modelcentro (linked to from modelcentro.com)

This... is what makes me hesitant. What is the difference between the two?

affiliates.modelcentro.com is a site that connects all model managed affiliate programs, they have custom payout percentages, they create their own rules and you work with the model directly

mcprofits is ran by us and we offer all tools and keep it updated frequently like a traditional program. it offers all the models who are opted in to allowing us to market them, that list is growing very quickly. affiliates.modelcentro.com is needed for models who wish to handle their own marketing, thats all.

As a webmaster, you should know that converting traffic doesn't have alot to do with the CMS, as much as the person running the website. So every case will be unique because these are model managed sites. If we use JanaJordan as an example, it could very well be due to the fact she doesn't update her website and it shows on the tour. perhaps its due to the fact her photosets are tiny, perhaps its not exclusive to her members site, there are alot of mistakes that happen when models run their own sites. However there are also a ton of models who are good at running their own sites, a good webmaster should be able to choose the models wisely. The frustration over the lack of conversions towards the company supplying the software is a bit misguided

Hey Ryan,

Since you want to start off with "you should", I will as well.

You should read my entire post. Nowhere, did I say I that I was frustrated with MC. I said I was hesitant to sign up. I am weary of a lot of programs with their own billing and their own check writing.

I prefer programs that use CCBIll, Epoch, and others. You know, companies that have always paid on time.

I know how to convert traffic. I am converting 10 year old content into sales daily, and I have been around since 2002, while a lot of my direct competitors are out of business.

When I send clicks to a program like kinkydollars (Jessie Cox) for several days, check the stats and see 0 clicks, I pull the links and say fuck it! This has happened to me with several companies, so again, I am weary to sign up to new programs. Especially when they are not using a billing company that I am familiar with.

These are the reasons I asked if anyone had experiences with your affiliate program. Which I still, haven't seen a post from any current affiliate saying anything yet.

I have model specific content, in which I had shot the model's "rookie content", or a few random pictures of her that I took, and can post, and that can lead out to new affiliate sales with my member traffic, but usually... I have to say fuck it. Because the sites are poorly ran, and don't track clicks or sales accurately.

I know that out of a few hundred member clicks, that there should be a conversion here and there. This is not random surfer traffic, this is member traffic.

One more thing, wise people never say "you should" to anyone. No one wants to be told what he or she should do, should know, etc.

I looked at the sites on mcprofits, and I do not see JanaJordan.com. So I would need to sign up via affiliates.modelcentro.com then?

And... after signing up is when I would be able to realize what JanaJordan.com pays to affiliates, etc.?

Now, can you see my confusion/hesitation?

I agree, JanaJordan.com SHOULD have an affiliate program linked at the bottom. It does say, powered by ModelCentro at the bottom... which again, leads to all of my confusion.

And yes, I know about GoodGirlsBank. I am confident with an affiliate link from them, it's ran Spunky and he uses CCBill.

Hey phil-flash, janajordan.com doesn't have an affiliate program at this time. The site will be launched soon and you'll be able to promote it through MCProfits and get 50% revshare for joins and rebills. Stay tuned!

This has not been my experience at all. I started with Model Centro after seeing Jeny Smith post on this board last year. Now getting her and other models plenty of sales and the rebills are consistent! Thanks MC!!

Just giving my two cents here >> generally when trying to find companies that do not pay or on time, you would look for smoke. There hasn't been a single post on the boards that would suggest that, and theres one thing we can all agree on, gfy posters love controversy so if we had done anything like you are weary about, then it would have probably been posted about at some point in recent couple years

You wont find many companies anymore that do not pay/ripping people off, unless they are dated (on a steep decline)/dead companies, this is a mature industry and to succeed nowadays, you need to run it like a legit mainstream business. You would end up nowhere if you ripped people off. Plus with the recent launch of an affiliate program, to give people no sales (or a lack of) is just not good for business, if a company were to rip people off , it wouldn't be at the beginning. My 2 cents.

I actually can't think of any modern companies who have ripped anybody off. Though i could be mistaken. ModelCentro is the same company as AdultCentro which is used by a large percent of adult, with no issues. If any of that helps ease your conerns

IMO 100 clicks, members traffic or not , is too small of a sample size. Throughout my years running paysites and affiliate sites, Ive seen all sorts of weird trends, until you are dealing with insane amounts of money, strange spikes occur. Ive seen days where i've had 50 sales and the next 0-3 with no techincal issues, no recent changes in traffic sources, etc. Next 100 hits, you could get 4-5 sales. Perhaps its the site you are sending to, i can't say. But i can assure you the clicks are being tracked properly and we want to give our affiliates sales ;) Perhaps you can give me the site you are sending from and your affiliate info and i can look into it. Hit me up on ICQ or email.
