Remember MSDOS ??

Well i have a program called "Professional Write" and it must be run in DOS, its a floppy, not even a CD!

Problem is, on winXP the command window is so small, it wont let me maximize it.

Does anyone know a way to maximize this window? Or do you know any other programs that act as a third party MSDOS?

Thanks for any help.

In the program or shortcut properties you should be able to specify a window size.

Well i right clicked on it and went to window properties ... selected "open maximized"

and its still this itty bitty rectangle window.

Even if i hit the square on top right of window it doesnt change size.

When you open the properties window, select "Options", you'll see "Display Options". Select "Full Screen".

I'm not even gonna ask why you're using ProWrite. I've probably got an old copy of WordStar around here someplace if you wanna upgrade...

perfect, thanks.

See a buddy of mine owns an insurance business, and as hard as this is to beleive, he has his entire book of business in ProWrite.

Maybe 15k people.

He is the kind of guy that wont change until it doesnt work anymore.

Ive offered many times to make him a custom program with a VB front end and an SQL or Oracle back end, but he wont change! lol

Thanks alot.
