Ibill using dialers?

I'm not sure if this is legit or bullshit. Has anyone else received the email below?

From: Sharmaine Dean <[email protected]>
Subject: International Dialers have arrived from iBill
To: *******
Organization: Internet Billing Company, Ltd.

Greetings,

Now that you are part of the Cam Program, I wanted to be the first to tell you about this new product that will impact your revenues today. This product has no reserve hold on transactions because there is no chargebacks. If you are interested just fill out the attached forms and email them back to me. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Below is some information about the Dialers. We will be getting an updated rate sheet within the next couple of days. The countries on the list now, are ones that are used most often; your customers may be based out of specific countries. If you are interested in knowing the rates for a country not on our list, I can get that information for you.

Web 900 Dialer
1. What is a Dialer?

A dialer is a small piece of software that is downloaded to the end-users computer. A small icon will appear on the end-user task bar or desktop. This software is what makes the actual call to a 900 number.

2. Where can the Dialer be used?

The Dialer can only be used by end-users outside the U.S.

3. How is the Dialer billed?

The Dialer is billed on a per minute basis and end-users will be
billed in their local currency. Countries that do not have termination points, long distance rates will apply. Charges will appear on the end-users phone bill.

4. What type of website can use the Dialer?

Subscription/Intangible item

5. How long will it take to download?

1 minute

6. Will the end-user know how much time and how much the session is going to cost?

The dialer will have a running time and total monetary amount displayed clearly to the end-user.

7. Will there be technical support?

Clients will be given contact information for support that will be
available 24/7 during the dialer setup process.

8. How will payouts be handled?

The payouts will be 45 day in a rear and will be paid once a month on the 15th. The end-users will be billed in their currency and iBill and its clients will be paid in US Dollars. Web 900 dialer revenues are guaranteed. Currently, there are NO charge backs for the web900 dialer. The reserve hold is $0 for the dialer.

9. Who actually pays out every month? Ibill or the dialer company?

DebitPayments.com (DPC).
DPC specializes in currency conversion risk. The dialer vendor pays out in Euros, and other foreign currencies.
Banks here typically charge $35 plus 5% conversion fee. DPC earns their commission through purchasing forward
positions on currency, which saves the client lots of $$. This is a short term solution so that our clients can benefit from dialer revenues while we develop our internal solution. Estimate time for completion is
end of September.

10. Who will the end-user contact for customer service?

The end-user will be given contact info for the dialer vendor.

11. If want to use the dialers to provide access to my own content what has to be done?

If you would like to use your own content all you have to do is open an IP address from the dialer vendor to your web server. The embedded IP address in the dialer is the password into the members area. By using the vendor's content you'll be saving on bandwidth costs and be getting "localized" content, meaning the content will have the look and feel of the country
from which the end user is originating. It's not necessary to use the vendor's content, but those clients that use their content experience an average hold time of 12 minutes vs. an 8 minute hold time for clients not using the vendor's content. Hold time is the amount of time an end user is being billed on a per minute basis.

12. Can I see the revenue stats for the dialer in my Ibill stats, or do I have to go to the dialer company's site for that?

Currently, dialer clients need to visit the vendor's website to
voluntaristic. We are developing a button in CMI
that will redirect clients to the vendors reporting site.

Sincerely,

Sharmaine Deans

They were working on dialers last summer. We were going to beta them, but we got sick of waiting for them to get their act together. It may be legitimate. Call your rep.

So they supply the dialer and billing support. What do I put in? Do I set up some girls (I currently do not have) or European traffic (I have a decent amount)? Does anyone know more?
