Superbike racing

California Speedway was amazing yesterday

Matt Mladin killed it. The guy blew everyone away even with having to do a stop and go from a black flag. Suzuki had the horse power advantage.

SuperMoto made its debut with a jaw dropping performance by Jeremy mcGrath and Jeff Ward.

Ward and MC battled it out the whole race awith Ward getting him in the last turn. Metzger battled through the pack to take 4th. Super Moto is the shit its road racing with a squeeze of Mot added and they can be ridden on the street with the right conversion kit

You would not have believed how amazing Mc Grath looked.....I think he has had this on his plate for some time onthe DL.

Jeff Ward though........the guy could win races riding an old lady....I felt like we watched history being made....the birth of a whole new racing to blow up in the U.S.

MC was running out of the KTM rig on a 4 stroke 450 running Hot Wheels graphics

I would think so they seemed to give it a pretty good share of interest.

i know speed vision was there. The venue was packed where they ran. Seeing McGrath and Ward hitting 100 down the back stretch on each others tire was more than people even expected. Toy Lee ran....Brad Lackey........so many names in the sports history. Seriously watch for this to blow up I can already see the trick SMX bikes on the street. Canyon sleepers for sure

They had a open class where a few guys ran bikes they rode to the event.....one guy was even trying to shut down metz......he then took out the guy in second ( street guy was being lapped) it was cool though the guy was on a WR yamaha thumper with brake lights and tags and out there mixing it up wit the big boys.

In Moto you need a track or stadium to build a track with super moto you need a parking lot just a little bity of dirt and as many bleacher as you can rent and you can have an event watch for this to pick up speed inthe next two years

Moto racing is not very popular in Canada.

Go to AMA Pro Racing and lok for a link there.....you can also get the re-cap on the results at www.racerxill.com

Moto is the next NASCAR the generation who has the disposable income now relate to it much more than left turn rockets. No slam just the facts

picture is up now
The offroad suspention(modified with street springs) isent to bad - only $3499
I paid $5874 for my Kawa ZX7-RR last year. It might not be the fastest bike, but you will get a "hard-on" if you ever rode it through a corner

I dont like they Rear Offroad suspentions - Whitepowers is better

Lick that is a great link i book marked it.

ebus.........the bike that blew my mind was the KTM Duke it looks a bit odd but it combines the sport bike feel witht e super moto personality .....sooo much fun to ride you just whip ou the back wheel at will.

If there is any heavy hitters out there right now who want to make a seriously wise investment set up a shop that will do conversions.....a 17 yearold kid ccan have a very trick hip and in style ride for under 4k. I am telling you with kids today having such a passion for extreme sports you can become a cool kid overnight if you roll up on a super moto bike all tricked out.......what young girl who is a bit wild would not be down to hang on tight for a little adrenaline rush. I am seriously beating my head trying to figure out how to get a jump onthis market it is going to to be very very profitable$$$$$$$

the new DukeII is BRUTAL

A few years back i Imported parts from France, and Germany to Denmark and Sweden. Custom parts is ALWAYS A GREAT market.

SuperMoto is tha next big thing - trust me - it's been hudge where i live in europe, and you guys will get it to some day.
Its cheap to ride: If you fall, you dont have to pay $2000 for new bodyparts, but you just lift it up and ride again.

You might want to take a look at this page:
http://www.husaberg.se/bikes/motard.asp

Its a swedish bike (prodused with husquarna - swiss company)
It ROCKS

I'm a Ducati fan. There was some buzz last week about the company using the super mono engine for a motard style bike.

Highly unlikely. But would be seriously cool. 572 cc supercharged single.100 horses in a 300 lb frame set.

I have a line on one of the Husqvarna Nox still in the crate.

Would make a nice cafe ride.

This will do to sport bikes what Hondas and Acuras did to Mustangs and camaros

The bikes are cheaper the others will always be around but the new trick thing to have is has and always will be what the kids who make it happen will be seeking out.

This is not like riding a cbr, or zx, or anything like that. It has a unique sensation that gices you the ease of control (more like a dirt bike) and the pulse quickening rush like a sport bike. The most appealing thing is that you can do a conversion on an oldoff roader which means cheap to build...fairly cheap to fix and look totally trick.

you can wheelie these things for days
