How to copy DV tapes?

Hello, I have a DV tape I want to make several copies of what is the best way to do this?

You'll need another dv player or cam and a firewire cable between them. If you only have one cam, the only solution is to drop the dv into your station and then dump it back to tape

play it to a TV and then use a camcorder (the older VHS tape kind - that way it'll play in anyones VCR) and film the TV.

Just buy a computer connection card, dump your video into avi & back to camera.

OHh.... I didnt know you can record from the computer onto the dv cam.. i have the firewire card etc... How do you get the cam to record off the computer??? I have a sony trv-18.
