          Mr Love's lawyers said he could face up to 99 years in prison if convicted of the hacking offences.



          In England and Wales, the maximum sentence for crimes such as those of which Mr Love is accused is two years and eight months.
          haha so in the US he could get 99 yrs but in England he would get a vacation.. What is wrong with this picture..

              Mr Love, from Stradishall, Suffolk, has previously said he feared he would die in a US prison if he was extradited.
              Not if he lives to be 132.

                  It's actually a bit pathetic that the penalty would be so low in the UK.
                  But on the other hand, I think its equally wrong that he should be tried outside the UK by any third country.

                      Hoping the US government give leniency, understand he's autistic...

                      maybe give the guy a job checking their systems & not putting him in prison. He didn't steal anything, he's just some guy at home hacking into a system for the POV of it.

                      A shame someone can murder a whole family and get 20yr yet this guy sits in his home & messes about on a pc. To the trolls, yes I understand it's still a serious situation, but he's not working for governments or doing it to make money or create war
