SexFiles.com Closes; Sex.com Offers Transition Discount

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ADULT SEARCH ENGINE SEX.COM EXPANSION STRATEGIES SLATED FOR SPRING

Chief Competitor New Frontier Marquee Property SexFiles.com Shuts Down; Sex.Com Offers Customers Left Behind Special Transition Discount

SAN FRANCISCO -- April 1, 2003 -- /Xpress Press/ -- Sex.Com (www.sex.com), the premium adult Internet search engine, continues to experience solid growth and expansion as they roll out new plans for spring. In light of recent competitor SexFiles.com closing its web site, Sex.Com is positioned to dominate market share as the sole survivor in the adult search engine sector.

"I am pleased with the current success that Sex.Com has attained and anticipate further activity in our space as spring comes into bloom," said Gary Kremen, chief executive officer of Sex.Com. "It is gratifying to know that the market understands that we have an established brand and a robust business model that doesn't break."

Sex.Com's traffic affiliates and advertiser base increases significantly each month. Due to a steady rise in advertisers and affiliates, Sex.Com is upgrading its administrative center to accommodate a high demand for user- friendly support and maintenance tools. In the administrative center, Sex.Com's advertising network, advertisers and traffic affiliates alike,
will be able to review company statistics, edit profiles and manage accounts to ensure profitable returns via the administrative center.

With country-specific bidding, advertisers make money on international traffic. Sex.Com currently has advertisers in over 100 countries worldwide and growing. The Sex.Com domain encompasses over 45 different languages and international customer acquisition is reflected in this global reach.
Additional countries and their respective languages are targeted for spring's global strategies. Advertisers can bid on per country search phrase specific traffic and pay by click.

SexFiles.com, previously owned by New Frontier Media, Inc., a distributor of adult entertainment via electronic platforms, was the flagship adult search engine that competed against Sex.Com. With SexFiles.com's departure, Sex.Com is empowered to obtain additional market share and customers. Sex.Com is offering SexFiles.com's customers a transition special of 25% off their first deposit.

"Sex.Com is sitting in the midst of an obviously booming market with its Pay Per Click Search Engine," said Daron Babin, former VP of Operations at New Frontier Media. "With their technology, your traffic is in good hands."

"As an affiliate revenue program, FetishCash.com (www.fetishcash. com) tries to leverage every available traffic source," said Joe Butatz, Sales and Support Manager of FetishCash.com. "Sex.Com has become a core part of
our customer acquisition strategy. Keyword-targeted advertising and responsive customer support has made advertising with Sex.Com very profitable."

Sex.com traffic rocks. I'm using their ppc system and I have to say it's the best advertising money I have spent.

I tried $50 on exits, $50 on clicks from other traffic brokers and $50 from sex ppc (words set at 0.05c each) and here are my results.

15k Exits: 1 sale
10k Clicks: 0 sales
1k ppc (sex.com): 16 sales ($25 each)

They must be doing something right. :D

Too bad about sexfiles. That seemed like a good opportunity...

That said, nice going, sex.com!

I've been buying Gary's (sex.com) traffic for a long time now and will continue to do so. Not only do they offer the standard ketword targeted traffic, which is great for optimizing conversions, but they also geo-target their traffic. That means, for example, that if I'm looking for traffic for a german gay site, sex.com can deliver that.

On top of being a great source for targeted traffic, they also filter out illegal searches (kids and so on) in multiple languages and are founding sponsors of ASACP (Adult Sites Against Child Pornography - asacp.org.)

It's great and it keeps getting better!

Way to go, Gary!

Because New Frontier Media raped IGallery of all its assets then left them on the side of the road to rot. I should know because I am a byproduct of the IGallery Massacre!

Let it all out brother!

Let's have the juicy story of how this went down. Hmmm....I thought NOOF owned IGallery, so if they raped IGallery weren't they in effect raping themselves?

They bought IGallery back when it was cool to go public. And in less than 3 years ran it into the ground.

Yes the page was identical. Only the code to the links was changed so I could track where the hits to the sponsor where coming from.

I don?t know to be honest. From people that I still know on the inside, they have been sold to an undisclosed person or business. It's a damn shame to tell you the truth. I do have to say, they do have a really awesome site from the end user perspective, ten dot com.

There were a lot of good people at IGallery (and a few are still left). Its a real shame that a company that was once an industry powerhouse has been driven into the ground by ineptness. With everything IGallery had going for it (content, traffic, people) how could they not succeed?

The moral of this story seems to be that porn and public companies don't mix.
