You really have to have your shit together to shoot on cameras like that...
It's not like... ok... here is the record button... let's go...
You need to be a videographer or a fast learner to get good results...
Not sure if it's worth it for streaming or downloadable content...
If you want to go more cinematic but keep it more simple a Sony PXW-FS7 is a fine camera for that...
Search on YouTube to see Red or Alexa footage...
That said... I have a Red Scarlet for sale for $10K

Absolutely wrong
I shoot all day yesterday and Monday on Red Epics for an adult site. I also know 3 other ongoing productions were that is what they shoot on. James Dean has a RED and Wasteland is also shooting REDs

OK, and who is pulling your focus, cables and who is your DIT??? If you tell me you are doing this all by yourself then its like using a sledge hammer to open a can of beer or very inefficient use of your time.

Mark my Digital Tech handles my files, Jeff Allan is my focus puller and I have a team working with my Gaffer who do all the grip work. I use guys from the old Stephen Hicks days and also from Earl Millers team and Union guys for the heavy lifting. I dictate all the lighting. I have 3 people on camera including myself and we shoot with 2 cameras.

Cool, that is what I thought. You have a multiple and qualified personel to shoot the stuff. The OP ( and I may be wrong) expected some "solo cam shoot". We use Reds for our mainstream shoots but for adult paying all the bodies and cameras with the gear is not optimal financially, not for a small site anyway.
