question to platform owners: if you were to start a studio brand new, are you able to pay for premium traffic placements on your platforms to increase revenue for the models in the beginning..... if you are brand new and models aren't getting any viewers its discouraging and they could probably loose interest... how do new models/studios deal w/ this

Favoritism among business partners is never a good idea.

I am more in favor of a reverse co-op advertising program -- when a studio (any studio) provides us with promo content for media buys -- that we would first direct that traffic to that studio's model in that content or an individual independent model's content webcam room. However, any co-op spending must be related to the revenue produced by the studio or model to be a fair application.

This is a great question. And this is where lots of new studio / site owners trip-up. New owners need the following:

- Models online
- Customers online
- Time and patience to allow for user conversion (sales).

Essentially, you have to have all your ducks in a row before you start. Hiring models is actually fairly easy compared to the rest. As your models login and start working, they need to be able to work hard to convert customers as they begin to trickle in to their rooms and your site, but not be pushy.

On your end, you need to acquire traffic. Not garbage traffic - good quality, qualified traffic. You can buy traffic from all kinds of sources, you can use affiliates, and you can even use your models to get the traffic you need too.

It takes alot of work, and you have to pay attention to what you're doing.

Now for the good news: It's not impossible. All of the resources you need for everything can be found on just about any adult webmaster forum including GFY.
