For some reason at 45 I suddenly became attractive to (some) women. It's an adjustment, I am not sure how I am dealing with it. I guess I'll figure it out eventually.

It is logical. Since people tend to look +- few years different then their age you need to ID everyone who is in the bracket. Lets say drinking age is 21 and you think someone is 23. You MUST ID that person because of that +- few years that can go either way (meaning 23 looking can be 20 years old).What the fuck were you buying? If it was booze then why did she card you if she thought you were 4 years over the drinking age?
You were probably at 7-11 buying a 6 pack and it was subtle way of checking your id to report to the police in case the credit card was stolen.

I turned 48 yesterday. It's almost 8am, it's a holiday here, and I am leaving for a run, then off to the basketball court, and then I am going down to Davis, California, for a forty mile bike ride.
