Why XVIDEOS.COM allowed uploader to download their videos and re-upload?

This is very annoying. I can not imagine why they allowed uploaders to download their videos and re-upload them? Are they nuts? Did they think this will hurt them because visitors already viewed those videos?

They have a warning: "Do not upload from multiple accounts or you might get banned even with legal content!"

But downloading videos from them and upload it are OK lol

I think xvideos start to get rid of their cheating uploaders, especially Asian niche. They should put a warning 'Downloading videos here and uploading can get your account banned'

And why would they do that when every upload renames the file and makes it look like a new vid to Google and likes?

But the running "This video was uploaded to WWW.XVIDEOS.COM" are clearly still there. And if you upload that video with that running watermark it look like shit when another running watermark will appeared.

By the way, so you like this idea? Downloading and uploading their content to their own site?

Yeah right old grandpa, so their content is 10% original and 90% recycled

Probably pretty close. It's hard to steal fresh content as not many are doing it lately.

If that's the way they want to run their business, OK.

How does it affect you?

It's always amazed me about online porn and the multitude of little guys here. Is their continual ranting of how other people should run their sites. Are you hurting because you promote them or like telling others how to run their business?

Start your own site and run it as you please.
