    Are we all part of a huge simulation?

                                      Is this a collective simulation or am I the only one in it?...are you all sleeping exe files that are active only when observed or are we all installed in the same OS and observing each other?...I will never know...are we being observed by the makers of the simulation or did we make it and gift ourselves eternal life simulations?...who said immortality has to be physical?...do we pick lives like TV shows and then live them in oblivion and when we die in the simulation we pick a new one?...

                                              I think it's pretty obvious the entire planet is a fully functioning simulation. Everyone goes about their daily lifes and reacts with those around them in the normal way.
                                              The compting power is taken from distant planets so people around you don't need to lie dormant until you pass by.

                                              Also, I think it's safe to say that if we are part of a simulation then we are being observed at all times. Like not literally but they could if they wanted to.

                                                  You can never know if you are alone in the simulation or not...or how the code is written...both single and mass upload scenarios are possible, but you can never know for sure...

                                                  Did I upload myself to a USB stick with the simulation inside, a million years ago and nobody is watching but me, or is it more like a cloud and I am here with others and somebody is managing the cloud?

                                                  No way to tell...

                                                      I suppose anything is possible. Maybe there is a God. Maybe there isn't. Maybe we are in a simulation. Maybe we are just a species that evolved. Maybe we are the product of aliens. Maybe we are considered a parasite by some alien race, left here to do as we please.

                                                      We will never know until we die and by then it is too late to tell anyone else.

                                                                  Computer simulated future is so boring. Why don't they come up with something unique, it sounds like someone from the 50's idea of what the future holds, sorta like the Jetson's lol

                                                                  I think if people make it to 10000 ad we'll be far more interested in something new that we can't even imagine yet, running simulations of the past won't be needed. But I'm sure there will be technology that can do all those things.

If only that base reality should be nothingness and our dreams if indeed simulations might be symptomatic of the overall design. Who knows though. I certainly don't.
