I wanted to be on the drivers side because i think it is bullshit to block the cars. That car could have seen that person a long way off though. They are either blind..drunk or a murderer.

Perhaps because I've read a updated story? They in fact shot up two cars. The people in the video didn't know what was going on and the reporter in that story was writing it based on what they saw in the video...

Corrected Update on Ferguson Protest Accident/Shooting

Within seconds police say there was gunfire coming from different directions aimed at the female drivers Chevy Impala. The driver was not hit; however the car was struck numerous times. The driver was too afraid to stop as she left the scene to contact police.

Investigators now say a second car was caught in the blaze of gunfire when it was also hit several times. Police say 2 people were at a stoplight when their Nissan Altima was shot during the chaotic scene. No one in the vehicle was injured.

Police still have no details on what happened to the man hit by the car, or his identity. People at the scene rushed the man away from the area before emergency responders arrived.

Police talked to the African American driver who is believed to have accidentally hit the man. She says she was distracted by the amount of protestors along West Florissant as she was driving at night.

If driver stopped, She would be beated to death.

The "typical white girl who dates black guys" that shot the video has since deleted her profile on facebook but I looked at it last night and they were discussing the incident on her page. Nearly every comment was a black person claiming they as a collective "dindu nuffin" as far as the shooting is concerned. It was someone else shooting at them, and anyone claiming they did were "bigots"

It should also be added that all the while she was shooting the video with her phone she's saying "call the ambulance" lol

That street is a main thoroughfare. I'm quite sure like many people the woman had no idea about the "protest" and/or people would be standing in the streets. I use to store equipment right down the street from where they burned down buildings, it's a real shithole but it was cheap warehousing. I pulled everything out not long after the turmoil.
