    USA Merchant account

no middle shit guys, i already lose a MID today because an inappropriate agreement between my broker and the merchant account provided, i was set on a non high risk merchant account when my website is full of penis and vaginas... so i get closed and a lot of batch left for settlement on my gateway. nothing related chargebacks or so on, just in case...

    make it rain.

    Thx

Did you delete the line about the name?

They were your agent or the processor?

Sorry to hear of your pain. NOT GOOD!

This is why it's SOOOO important that you choose an ethical agent, plus someone who knows what they are doing. They are few & far between in the high risk industry.

I'm not saying this because they are my competition, I'm saying this because I've dealt with them & it was horrific.

If you need help getting a new account, contact me on my site.

Merchant Accounts for the high risk industry. I turned visitor messaging off, since the site doesn't tell me when I have messages, so please e-mail me from my site. Thank you

Good luck, you're likely on the TMF now.

processing transactions for a non qualified SIC Code, yes must probably your right, just took the wrong decision as i do handle other non US MID's and never had the necessity of one till now, and well this happened... at least the bank itself (where do i actually had to go/ask first before anyone else) gave me the opportunity of apply for the right merchant account for my needs, so they will do another review of my website etc. ill see what happens, most probably i get approved who knows, im in a good standing with my other MID's so theres no reason for not getting re-approved, i guess...

the problem is when you dont just have to pass trough a middle man but you have to deal with someone else before you can actually deal with the middle man to finally get in touch with the bank itself...

i will prefer to wait to hear from the bank first, if nothing happens im really not going to waist another hard pull on my credit, so thank you for the offer , i will preffer to keep working with my other MID's, even if they cost me more money...

So what really happens when you sign up with a MID and process through, say, Cybersource?

USA corporation with a domiciled location (registered agent?) and a USA bank account is required to process with VISA USA (<period>)

VISA-Net is split up into territories and your business has to ''be'' in that territory ''legally''.

Really? We process VISA from 140 countries - I'm not disputing but is that a function of the merchant account or the front end processor?

Dude are you for real? He's talking about territories for acquiring MIDS, not where in the world you can take transaction from

Yeah - so I didn't understand what he was saying, hence, my several questions above. Can we still share knowledge on this board or is it only trolls and political posts?

My fault -- I used the word 'domiciled'

                          verb Law formal
                          past participle: domiciled

treat a specified country as a permanent home.
"the tenant is domiciled in the US"
                          US
                          reside; be based.
                          past tense: domiciled
"he was domiciled in a frame house on the outskirts of town"
synonyms: is settled, live, make one's home, take up residence
                          "he is domiciled in Australia"
                          Sorry,

business, offices and so on are actually set up in the US, if your referred to my actual location, Cali, colombia (where i dont live just here for business)... however that was not the problem, problem was more from the vendor, but thx God i manage to get the account back again, as it was an error from someone else not me directly actually, i think that probably because i really have my merchants accounts in a good standing for over 4 years now, that probably helps, who knows but at least i get my stuff back in tracking.
