THE reason I came to this board with ThumbGal was so that we could improve the product to make it EASIER for gallery owners to make money without having to sell their soul to big TGP's if they didn't want to. I just don't think many of you are seeing past your anger.

Yes, Opera can block popups. What about the banners and text links on the page ? If you block images, you don't see the thumbnails and content either.

How will the webmaster make money, who finds his gallery ripped by 1000 people who never see any of his sponsors yet still pays his hosting and content bill ?

Why would someone surf for porn with images turned off? Even if they could, it makes no sense.

Anynow...we've seen these programs before. Most of them are more advanced than this one that you've thrown together. Some have even come from actual companies, and not just some kid who's good with VB and wants to make a quick buck while shitting on the work of others.

Guess what? They got the same reception.

Brujah,
Again, that is why I came to this board..I realize that ThumbGal is effective for the consumer but I wanted to make it effective for the owner of the gallery. ThumbGal can be morphed into anything we want it to be... it can display banners and set focus on itself when it does that...there are any number of things that can be done to increase exposure (isn't that what TGP submitters are looking for) for a webmaster's product. And I am looking to do that all-the-while promoting my product. But no one has come at me with that kind of attitude, only lawsuit threats and such. That will get us nowhere. As I said, if I didn't want to work with the site owner community, I wouldn't have come to a message board populated with them.
