actually agree with both of y'all, despite disparate POVs.

on the one hand it makes me sick and I don't want to fucking read it/see it, on the other I'm all for peeps showing their true colors. prob is there are so many peeps here who don't publicly attach themselves to their biz (myself included) so the latter tactic isn't always effective

for that reason more inclined toward PRG's argument. Though at times Amelia yours has so much merit. There are peeps and companies with whom I will never choose to work, based on their conduct here.

I'm right dude. Try getting fios in east orange nj or baltimore maryland. Most blacks didnt even have a pc circa 1997.

you do realize that there are Black peeps beyond colleges in the US though? and you do realize that access to internet is/was informal in low income racialized communities right from the beginning? Like peeps congregating in one household with the tech, to use it? It's not that Black peeps were late to the internet, it just wasn't as widely available for poor peeps period, in home.

Look at your own graph, Black students used the internet at school more heavily than white peeps. Why? Dollaz.

Even if Black peeps were complete Luddites initially (which is NOT the case, your own stats indicate that) like this space needs to be some version of Stormfront-lite just cuz you think you were here 'first'?

industry people still hang out together and talk, just in other places
