    Blacks should probably cancel their NRA memberships

    Apparently gun-rights only belong to the whites and the slightly brown Zimmerman's.

    Castile had a valid permit to carry a gun. He also reportedly informed the officer who shot him that he was armed in an attempt to head off a misunderstanding.

    Still, Castile was killed by police, prompting outrage that following the rules was not enough to save him from a violent death.

      I see they're using the old "internal strife" excuse when getting public blowback for inaction.

      The NRA used to be awesome, now they're just all about getting as many guns if any kind out there as possible and have traded public safety for profits.

      When an organization defends the rights of suspected terrorists on the no fly list to buy and carry guns, they've turned evil as fuck and anyone still supporting them is brainwashed and unAmerican.

      I wouldn't be surprised if there's a racial component to the NRA and if there is I hope it takes them down.

Besides the NRA has made a statement and that statement is they will wait and see. As in it isn't confirmed that he is an actual CCP. As of now it's just the word of his "girlfriend"

                              The NRA used to be about rifles and firearm safety. I remember being a kid in the 1970s and attending NRA safety classes, and them selling us yellow tinted shooting glasses and shooting gloves.

                              We gave a former soldier with a huge grudge an assault rifle and told him to have fun with it. Yet some people think the problem isn't firearms.

                                  As a former soldier why do you continue to keep representing a semi auto rifle as an assault rifle? Usually that term is used by the ignorant since it means fully automatic. Do you also call a magazine a clip? Just wondering.

                                      Long drawn explanations aren't needed to explain a 2 seconds shooting.

                                      After-the-fact background checks don't explain why someone shot a gun at someone who they never met.

                                                  An assault rifle is an assault rifle. It has nothing to do with if it is semi automatic or fully automatic. The very first thing they taught us on the rifle range at Paris Island is to always use semi automatic. Fully automatic is just a waste of ammo.

                                                  A rifle is used to shoot something at long range, usually when hunting or target practice. An assault rifle is used from short to medium range, and is used to assault a position or to defend a position from assault.

                                                  When I was in the Marine Corps we used the M16A2. It is the same exact weapon as the AR15. The only difference is the M16 can fire fully automatic.

                                                  Saying an AR15 isn't an assault rifle is ridiculous. An assault rifle is designed to kill people, and this is what civilians are using it for. This is why no one goes on a killing spree with a long rifle.

                                                                                              we live in a dangerous society, and because of this cops are going to react oner something simple because they are taking extra caution. i think its fucked up what they did, and the deserve to get their badges taken away and imprisoned for murder. But this is because of the world we live in.

                                                                                                          I was driving from California through Texas in my convertible with a female friend and my little boy. I was speeding on the freeway in the afternoon and got pulled over.

                                                                                                          The cop parked a few yards behind me and made a few weird motions from his vehicle, I finally understood he wanted me to exit my vehicle with hands up. So I did, and walked towards him then he got of his vehicle and was cool (he didn't have a gun pulled or give verbal direction). I'm white. I think it was a small town cop wanting to degrade perceived big city out of towners.

                                                                                                          If a cop is afraid of a black driver/passenger then why not have the ones you're afraid of do the same? Hands up exit the vehicle? Simple. If you're out to kill approach the vehicle weapon drawn and make some excuse for pulling the trigger.
