I already gave the cops some leeway by the fact that the guy shot was BLACK and that he was dressed like a scumbag (wasn't cooperating either). Stereotypes are earned and if you look a certain way, you probably are that way until you prove to me otherwise.

It never amazes me that the general public can't reserve judgement before getting all the facts.

Yes he was armed, apparently told the officer that and then reached for his wallet rather than keeping his hands in the air.
