Everything BAD that's happened during and AFTER his presidency, however, is Clinton's fault.

How's it feel to be a sheep? All wooly?

Clinton brought peace to the middle east? I thought he tried and failed. Hmm... you learn something new everyday.

As I said I don't blame Clinton for the recession that began while he was president. I also don't give him credit for the good economy before the recession. To be fair though if you're going to give him credit for the economy throughout the 90's do you also blame him for the recession that began while he was president?

nope he didn't fail. Things were going very well until Bush staged the coup d'etat and immediately pulled us out of every international effort Clinton's administration was involved in. He also pulled the funds for surveillance of Al-Quaeda and is directly responsible for 9-11.

Coincidentally, the plot of conservative icon Henry Kissinger to kill Allende came to fruition and the mass murderer Pinochet came to power on 9-11, 1973. Coincidence?

Conservatives are anti-intellectuals, religious fundamentalists and book-burners. Does it make you feel good to be one of them? BAAAAAA for me now.

Hmm I seem to remember Arafat rejecting the camp david accord (or whatever it was called) and calling for an intifadah (or whatever it's called) and the suicide bombings got worse. I wasn't one of them but I remember people blaming Clinton for the worsening of the suicide bombings because of raising hopes and failing. You act as if for the last few years of Clintons terms there were no suicide bombings and they started right back when Bush took office. Sorry dude, no offense but that's total bullshit.

10% of Gulf War I veterans are already dead. AFAIK 40-50% are suffering symptoms of Gulf War Syndrome.

And current policy, if you can call it that, is to forget they or the conflict exists.

Ahh but Clinton [b[DID[/b] manage to hold the budget in line, create a surplus while getting the cash flow back to medicaid and SS (maybe not to where it should have been or should be) But he surely didn't spend it all in one week like GW did.

I'd like to see a list of things that Dubya has done and COMPLETED. Other than get us in to this, that and the other, the simpleton hasn't done a thing except perhaps wipe his own rear end. Jury is out on that, so we aren't sure if he might not have help doing that too.

He brought in all the hawks, who are and were proven warmongers and tried to balance that with Powell who he promptly turned into a Minah bird, lap dog for the undereducated...

His kids AND his brothers daughter were brought up very well obviously, judging by their rap sheetsm brought up well if they were in the hood.

The one thing that might be accomplished friom him being president (If we make it thru 4 yrs of his jerky jumping around) will be the electoral college will bite the dust. As it should have done 100 yrs or more ago.

And I am NOT a liberal, nor a rightie. Oddly enough repubs usually vote across the board while dems don't always follow that trait, so the percentages say the repubs make more wrong choices in politicians. :1orglaugh

Btw, that seperation of church and state is doing reallll well under Bush eh? I note that he does prayers and the whole nine yards besides making continous (wrong in alot of cases) quotes from the Bible. Now THAT is funny. :Graucho

dig420 03-28-2003 08:32 PM

let's not forget that we now have a congressionally approved day of prayer and fasting.

if I wanted to live in a religious state I would have been born in fucking Iran.

Except for the bad grammar ones most of those quotes are just taken out of context.

I'm just saying there are plenty of examples of Bush putting his foot in his mouth without having to cheat.

dig420 03-29-2003 02:19 AM

Hard to read you ... but how is this one " out of context":

"it is clear our nation is reliant upon big foreign oil.

More and more of our imports come from overseas "

????

jas1552 03-29-2003 02:30 AM

Well not all of our imports come from overseas.

edit: yes i know that's a lame defense.

taked as in 'shaked'

content instead of context, as in 'anecdote' instead of 'antidote'

'like her said' is a play on 'he or her will be able to read'

Geez..

why do you find that statement to be amusing again?

Paul Markham 03-29-2003 03:33 AM

I think best and worse depends on who you are.

A millionare media mogul or an unemployed factory worker.

Guess he will be lauded as a great President then. :1orglaugh
