As I said I don't blame Clinton for the recession that began while he was president. I also don't give him credit for the good economy before the recession. To be fair though if you're going to give him credit for the economy throughout the 90's do you also blame him for the recession that began while he was president? |

Coincidentally, the plot of conservative icon Henry Kissinger to kill Allende came to fruition and the mass murderer Pinochet came to power on 9-11, 1973. Coincidence? Conservatives are anti-intellectuals, religious fundamentalists and book-burners. Does it make you feel good to be one of them? BAAAAAA for me now. |

Ahh but Clinton [b[DID[/b] manage to hold the budget in line, create a surplus while getting the cash flow back to medicaid and SS (maybe not to where it should have been or should be) But he surely didn't spend it all in one week like GW did.
I'd like to see a list of things that Dubya has done and COMPLETED. Other than get us in to this, that and the other, the simpleton hasn't done a thing except perhaps wipe his own rear end. Jury is out on that, so we aren't sure if he might not have help doing that too. He brought in all the hawks, who are and were proven warmongers and tried to balance that with Powell who he promptly turned into a Minah bird, lap dog for the undereducated... His kids AND his brothers daughter were brought up very well obviously, judging by their rap sheetsm brought up well if they were in the hood. The one thing that might be accomplished friom him being president (If we make it thru 4 yrs of his jerky jumping around) will be the electoral college will bite the dust. As it should have done 100 yrs or more ago. And I am NOT a liberal, nor a rightie. Oddly enough repubs usually vote across the board while dems don't always follow that trait, so the percentages say the repubs make more wrong choices in politicians. :1orglaugh Btw, that seperation of church and state is doing reallll well under Bush eh? I note that he does prayers and the whole nine yards besides making continous (wrong in alot of cases) quotes from the Bible. Now THAT is funny. :Graucho |

And these:

I've got a job. Dick Cheney has a job. I don't see what all the fuss is about." GW - November 23, 2002 "Economies are about money, and I feel . . . I believe that money . . . I like money.
