It's like this.. I get a bunch of unsolisited email every day, most of these emails have missleading titles... In my eyes there's no difference between yours and theirs..

I randomly send complaints to [email protected] not for every mailing, just the lucky ones that I happen to pick.. Why? Because I can..:thumbsup

Dude, just get Mojo. DO a search at Google for Mojo mailing list software. It runs off a server and it's free. You should pay the "suggested" $50 in your case, though.

There is on my site. Totally free. (basic listing) Of course I make my money on the advanced listings, but we do offer a totally FREE listing.

OPT-IN. Think about the name and especially what it implies and what those people thought they were getting into. If a list is being sold it aint opt-in. Terms and conditions and what people may call something dont mean dammit. Lawyers and others can try to make it as complicated or gray or technically legal as they want, but that aint "opt-in" and you know it.

Since GoDaddy just gave me a warning about this shit, I am afraid to send out anything else about this site. I just opened it, I do not want it shut down.

I never said they don't sell the lists, but calling that list "opt-in" is still misleading. Purchased lists will have a higher number of spam complaints since the user did not (knowingly) agree to have his/her address sold.

I do not see the difference in getting unwanted email vs. getting unwanted solicitations in the postal mail. Postal mail is worse if you ask me, you have to throw away that crap, email you just delet... no muss no fuss.
