WTF - Cashing a Money Order...

I'm sitting here with an Postal Money Order (it's a Canada Post one) and according to my bank they cannot cash this stuff... (I'm in sweden)

WTF Should I do??

Whoever sent you that money order should have gotten one from a Canadian bank instead of Canada Post.

Canadian banks have relationships with Sweden banks that would allow you to deposit a money order in a Swedish bank and have the funds immediately.

Ask whoever sent that to you to send you a money order from a Canadian bank, not Canada Post.

Thanks BRISK, I thought it was something like that too... my bank refered me to the postal office, but the postal office couldn't cash it either...

same in UK bank is fucking about, we get a lot of mail orders from USA and didnt used to be a problem, nowdays its a nightmare.... You have to make sure they send INTERNATIONAL mail orders.

I think the US Postal service used to have money orders that could be cashed outside of the US, but I think they stopped offering those now.
