Italy had clinched the first place even before the game, they rested all their yellow card players etc etc. Not a big surprise at all.

While the combined strength of right side may be higher, best 1-2 teams on the left side is not THAT much weaker than whatever would reach the final from the right side. So odds may not be THAT much different.

All through the competition, there's been a reluctance to book players for professional fouls. Needs to stop and start punishing players who can only trip up the opposition.
