I don't care what people do that doesn't harm others (though one could argue that it can harm their family) but its just my personal opinion that a large percentage of these people have mental health problems and/or were sexually abused as children.

Mental health? Changing your body to suit your needs and projecting yourself in a way that you feel defines you is healthy. I don't see a connection to child sex abuse.

You're probably both right. It's healthy to want to be who and what you're meant to be, but I also wouldn't be surprised to find a lot of confusion among many of these trans individuals who suffered all manner of abuse during their formative years.
