It doesn't look like an action cam though. I looked at many of the action cam test footages on youtube and they don't look like this. Another person suggested it was a Galaxy S3, just curious what knowledgeable shooters have to say.

If it's not an action cam, it's a smartphone. No one is going to be able to tell specifically from that video what camera it was recorded with.

If it's that important, why not ask the guy who posted the video to YouTube?

That's crazy though, the quality of that video looks very clear & sharp to look like a smart phone. I haven't used many of these latest smart phones so i must be far behind lol.

My Samsung S7 video looks better than my older HD camcorders and for sure my old Nikon SLRs that shot HD video

My iPhone 6s video looks much better than that.

And GoPro video can be sharp and clear and plenty colorful.

I don't think it's an action cam as there's no fisheye effect. The camera lens isn't pro, as it's focus is all over, so I'd suggest a smartphone also... but as people have said above, there's no way of saying

They aren't all fisheye and the ones that are, you can easily fix that with the click of a button "in post".
