Paysite Start-up Budget

I am putting together some business plans for various versions of paysites. I wanted to get some ideas for what to purchase.

What are some important items other than bandwidth (server) and scripting?

VISA adult fee $750
Merchant account/processor set-up fees

I have seen some cool software to help minimize fraud, password control, etc. What would you recommend and is this necessary? What are must haves?

How many processors? More than one? If you have more than one processor do you have to pay the VISA fee twice?

I want to see what I may have missed. Thanks!

Ideas and cash are not the problem. I am asking about any must have investment items I may have missed.

Do not forget to budget in what your Holio content package will run.

Starting out ......we could have you a truck load of content starting at $500.00

give me a call when you are pulling the trigger

Thank you. I have budgeted for content. I am looking for the basic tech set-up expenses.

Sort of off topic, anyone here know if you can start small and charge a smaller fee? Say $7.95 or $9.95 a month?

I have a little exclusive niche content and will be making more, I know it will sell, but I dont have enough to justify a $30/mo or whatever fee.

I dont want to do avs though, I want to keep all the profits.

$750. won't get you a Merchant Account....It will get you a Sponsored Account w/ an IPSP. If you are looking for your own Merchant Account, you'll need to be registered w/ Mastercard as well. This will run you an additional $1k.
