interior BC is the warmest area of Canada (in the spring/summer/fall). absolutely beautiful and clean, surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes. it does get cold in the winter, but if you ski or snowboard - paradise.

UH FUCK YES. Where I live is in the fooking woods, yet I've seen it as hot as 110 here in the summer. SOme places on the prairies can go even higher. Toronto is pretty moderate year round, even in the winter it doesn't really get SUPER cold there.. And umm..Vancouver is lucky to get snow, it stays quite nice there... My suggestion to you is this, visit sometime, during the summer.... See where you like.. I'll give you a few Canadian views though to give you an idea of what you're missing..
(I can't hotlink from this site but I can put up links)
It is tragic that some of the great Canadian Hockey Clubs are struggling financially....speaking inparticular of Ottawa....best team in the league points wise.
It would be great to see a Canadian Team go to the cup this year......they will no doubt get torn apart by the Red Wings but hey getting to the dance is whats important.

I love a good winter, but the woman is a fan of the 80-90 degree heat as much of the year as possible...I show her something like this and she's like HELL NO...
^^^ averages for temperature in Vancouver, shows never above 80F....
what's another good city to lookup for average temperatures up there in BC?

Yes I know it's spammy, but hot damn, people wonder why people like me stick it out... I think it becomes obvious without words
AMAZING photos! I'd love it up there I'm sure, just shopping for somewhere I can sell the woman on....
The only time of the year that we've visited Vancouver was in the April time frame which was still a bit on the chilly side....
Today weather.com reported the 50s for Van....burrr

If Israel's climate of hate would decrease I'd love it there I'm sure, if Mexico would allow foreigners to own property near the beach I'd be game....
I guess it's time to get some l00t and just move to Greece

Another place/region I was looking at was S. America, but Argentina seems a tad unstable atm....Brazil a bit on the humid side all year long....
anyone from down south that has some recommendations?

No snow all fucking winter long!! Woohooo! There is snow but it is only on the mountains not on the roads or city. It's always like +15 here all winter. Plus we're surrounded by mountains, and an incredible ocean. The people here are totally laid back and there are tons of hotties. Free healthcare, wicked beer, no draft what could be better!!!
Plus you get $1500 Canuck for every $1000 US cheque you cash

If I were single the decision would be Soooooooo simple, I'd be in Vancouver in a heartbeat...
I've been there only 2 times and loved it...
I would have to travel during the summer though to get my heat on....it was 80 F today and I was working on my tan....

Thanks! I enjoyed taking them, too. The picture with the big blue sky is my front yard, feel free to come camp in it any time you like hehe. The rest well, the mountains will always be in my heart (I'm from Calgary and I miss seeing them) but Ontario is lovely too. B. C. is amazing as well.. it's definitely at least worth the visit.
In that one the photographer preferred to remain in the gloom and take a picture of the one area around there with some nice sunlight
Gloomy? With skies like that? Nooo way... I (the photographer in question) don't take pictures of gloom often, but when I do, it's pretty gloom, damn you! hehe. Now be nice before I hunt you down and whip out the rubber farm animal collection on ya. Rowr.
I read an article lately that said a panel voted Vancouver BC the 2nd best place to live in the world. They based it on cost of living, crime rate, entertainment and a few other things I can't remeber. Switzerland had the #1 place and they also had 4 of the top 10 spots.
PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Full of people who have no idea what they are talking about - JUST LIKE most of people here, but at least they know they don't know shit, UNLIKE most people here
strong dollar against local currency. good food, safe, low crime rate, fairly clean by 3rd world standards, and some of the most beautiful and feminine women in the world.
if you love slender, tight bodied feminine women with beautiful skin and beautiful long hair, this is heaven on earth, unlike anything in the western world.
and more than just the physical, it's how the women treat you. it's very seductive.
you could easily live in thailand just for the women.
but, i am happily married ;)
but if my wife EVER gave me any trouble (ok, just daydreaming)
