Manchester United's Old Trafford ground evacuated
Two stands at Manchester United's Old Trafford ground have been evacuated ahead of their home game against Bournemouth.
Fans have been removed from the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand and the Stretford End and sniffer dogs have been brought in to search the stands. An announcement was made for security personnel to invoke "operation red code". The away section of the ground did not appear to be affected. they found the device was a mobile phone on a gas pipe. Sounds a bit strange to me. & there was a controlled explosion to get rid of the device, like, why?
