Processor(s) wanted

Okay, I've been having a horrible time lately trying to find a processor or several processors that will meet my needs.

Third party preferable, however I'm considering getting my own merchant account since I've got a nice lil' 0% chargeback ratio.

My requirements are variable pricing (Since I'm selling content, not memberships). Support for my existing shopping cart (I can adapt my cart to support any system, but the system must support 3rd party carts). Real time notification of transactions (Not via email, must be a GET/POST to an API on my server of some sort).

Paypal's system is by far the best I've used yet, and I can't seem to find a single third party merchant with quite as robust a system. Please let me know if anyone knows processors I can consider.

(Yes, I'm aware of PSW Billing Solutions and their ability to process in this manner, however I'm still wary of them and would rather use them as a secondary).

Thanks in advance for any help.

If you are selling content go with your own Merchant account, you are not high risk. You dont need a third party processor, your giving away money you dont need to. Talk to Mitch from net billing I am sure he can help you, Mitch is a nice guy a CEO that returns my phone calls and I am nobody lol..

Then Charge.com. How can you be high risk if you are selling to other businesses and you are selling a physical product?

If you are selling a physical / shippable product only (even if it's adult) then you are not high risk. However, if you are selling anything that can be download or viewed for a price online, (even if the product is meant for B2B only) you are still considered high risk and will have the pay the Association Registration payments. There's no way around it. It's not up to the processor or bank. It's Association's call.

So send CD's to everybody, even if you mailed them all priority mail it would be cheaper than 15%. lol

Exactly. Let them download the content instantly but also send them a CD.

That's what I would say. Fuck 15% of your money when you are only dealing with webmasters and not scamming kids just wanting a jerk.

Jact,

Please call me personally tomorrow after 11am PST. I will analyze your product, talk to the bank and I will determine if you are high risk based on their criteria.
Even if you get a merchant account elsewhere, we can most likely use it with our system.

Toll Free within the US: (888)357-8166
Outside the US: (661)252-2456

Thank you, Mitch Farber

We charge only 8% and it doesn't matter whether you're running high risk biz or not.

Do they let you do variable pricing though? I thought it was all preconfigured products/services.

I checked out Verotel the other day, it appears to be just membership management with a $75 limit on ticket price with no support for what I need. Thanks for playing.

Rand, I did indeed get your email. As it was a lengthly email I haven't had time to form my completely reply. However I don't see your company being right for my needs from what you've told me. If I ever go membership based I'll consider it.

(Though I would have liked to use Epassporte, just isn't worth the hoops)

Jact,

Epoch, or epassporte, is not all things to all people. But, drop me a line and tell me what you are looking for.

We are flexible enough to offer nearly anything within the law and ethical.

I would love to knock your socks off (as you've put it) if we can.

What do you need?

Looking forward to your reply.

Read my first post in the thread. Epassporte would actually support what I needed (From my understanding), however I may just use it for money transfers and whatnot instead of integrated payments.
