What do you think about the dropoff in conversion ratio in my stats?

Is that a common occurrence when promoting cams or do you think there must be an issue? I hope I didnt screw up my linkcodes somehow. I will doublecheck my linkcodes today.

Sign ups go up and down as does money. From my experience it does not really mean anything.

In my opinion you should just keep on keeping on. If they continue to stay down for a week or two then you might start worrying, otherwise just keep doing what you have been doing because it is working.

I noticed the chaturbate servers were still unstable yesterday, at some points showing 500 internal server errors instead of the cams... I'm starting to believe that's just the norm.

....but I had a somewhat better day yesterday...



I will take your advice and stop micromanaging my conversion ratio day to day....

Instead of concerning myself so much about daily signups, I will start concentrating on increasing the number of quality hits/traffic I am sending...

i emailed support with this question and they responded telling me i wasn't allowed to promote the program via email - even though that wasn't what i asked and i wasn't doing that anyway. when i responded to clarify i never received a response back

i pulled traffic because i sent 149 free signups and nobody spent $ so i put that traffic back onto free trial cams and ppl

also i'm not sure if they just ghosted my account because their support employee mistakenly thought i was talking about ME running mail campaigns and not THEM running mail campaigns, though i assume that isn't the case because that would be, quite frankly, retarded

I'm not an expert with whitelabel setups but as far as I know from the registrar end you should just need to point the domain to 64.38.230.2 for chaturbate whitelabels.

Sounds like you got replied to by someone in India.

I don't think Chaturbate emails at all.

I've never received an email from chaturbate as a regular cam viewer or an affiliate.

Their chaturbate username is tied to your account once you've referred them so whenever that username buys tokens, you make money.

The grey area is who gets credit for the signup when they've visited multiple whitelabels and the main chaturbate site with different refcodes over a certain time period.

we actually had a thread about this a few months ago.. it's something people talk about from time to time.. I had a discussion with their support before where they said that the last cookie wins, but punkerbarbie cleared everything up, and after that, I got another mail from their support and they told me that they were wrong and the first cookie stays. i saw models actually placing big buttons in the header saying sign up now, which were their own affiliate links, and a few of us got really pissed about that...

how i know, no...the main chaturbate embed is using https, but your whitelabel embed should be working without that too...

anyways, how are your stats going? june started slow for me, but currently I'm at 25 free signups and $9.02 in revenue lol

add www. to your whitelabel domain... example: Zerovic Internet Marketing Solutions

however, the logo is hard coded in the embed code itself, but if you check the source of this html, you can see that it comes from your whitelabel... if you want something else, you should use php... i did that before..

btw, pornhero... check the link...I have added two embeds.. one for chaturbate and one for the whitelabel.. if you have adblock enabled, it shouldn't show the chaturbate embed, but the other one shows without any problems... I was thinking about another idea, but looks like this works just fine haha

You could do that, & I admit that it would allow with a lot more flexibility/customization but, you could also just position a transparent a tag over the embed with absolute positioning & point it wherever you want.

would save the trouble of recompiling their player.

anything can be done if you think outside the box... making the embed cam link to your whitelabel is something i did in the past... anyways, if you put the embed code in a DIV, let's say <div id="mydiv"></div> and set up jquery like $('#mydiv').click(function() { window.location.replace("http://www.google.com"); }); it will redirect you to the url of your choice... you can also put on your own logo, hide controls etc if you want.. it all depends who's willing to pay me to reveal the secret hahaha
