Now that Quintin Tarantino's main film editor has died, nothing short of her rising from the dead could save this horrible long winded disaster of a film, Hateful Eight.
I'm a QT fan, don't get me wrong, but QT has lost it.
3 hours of nothing, toss in a some blood and some body parts being shot up and there it is.
No story, no story and no story. Oh, and ONE un original editing time line trick, ooohhh...... let's go back in time one day and see how we got to where we are. What a joke. Like that one cut would save the film?
AND one more insanely dumb moment, in the middle of the film, for no reason at all, QT does a voice over??? WHAT THE FUCK??? He doesn't represent a character in the film and the voice over in the middle of the film for 1 minute and makes no fucking sense at all. I thought later QT would pop in revealing "who" was doing the voice over, but nope. Then about another hour into the film, there is another 1 minute worth of voice over. Beyond lame and meaningless.
I couldn't believe it was a QT film?
And this piece of shit won a Golden Globe for best screenplay??
It had a few moments, and some snazzy dialogue, but Best Screenplay? Doesn't a screenplay need an original storyline?? Not something stolen from a "who dunnit" movie?
He spent more time and thought on the camera shots and mountain shots. Who gives a rats ass about mountains and horses, I want to see an original feature film.
This was one of the worst QT films ever made. He even stole his "Chapter 1" title cards from Kill Bill series.
It's almost as if nobody knew how to edit film and just tried to mimic Kill Bill. But grossly failed.
I think QT has eaten way too many ding dongs and the fat is now clogging up his brain.
I hope he can pull his head out of his ass and do one more solid creative film, otherwise, I think he has peaked.

Oh, one last thought, QT just loves to use the "N" word any chance he gets, but come on already, the entire movie is riddled with the "N" word. It's being said every 3-4 minutes. After watching people yell "N" for 3 hours, it gets quite sickening.
QT must've been beaten up by some black dude when he was a loser teenager because he just can't seem to do a film now without calling black people "N." His movies are turning into his own personal therapy. But hello, what about the audience?
