Like squealer once said, he is genius for buying cheap old content and making great network. But I guarantee only 10% or less sites make real money. Its a trial and error thing and he is one of those people who gets it! More power to him!
I know one guy who makes lots of money in one niche where he has no competition. Old guy, into kink himself. I was shocked when he told me. Never ever in my life I would imagine there are people getting off on that.

don't know the dude all that well but based on objective evidence: smart as fuck
1) runs a thriving network of sites that survived a rebranding and thrived thereafter (ability to plan/execute and adapt to changing conditions)
2) never goes low in a disagreement, here of all places

Its a lot easier than you think. You can use existing free scripts and as long as you have PHP knowledge you can make it to where you upload videos or pix in one directory and update $count . One day I am going to start FREE Porn University for all Bernie supporters who graduated with Sociology and Jewelry design degrees. Woj is the man doing the hard work. But yeah much is PHP. I'm doing everything except a search function. The idea of tagging thousands of videos right now makes me dizzy. LOL But it will auto-update, rotate content, stream videos, add new sites, basically make the user experience better for Members (especially on mobile) which should help with rebills. It's also great for upsells and displaying special offers, etc. Lot of work tho so doing it one site at a time. Should be done sometime in 2038.

I don't think reusing old DVD screen caps and adding HD tag is a good idea or "smart". But thats just me.
Don't take me wrong, you do get paid here and there from your tube submission traffic but is it worth the effort? Just looking at "Join" and "See More" button design I can tell Its a one men shop. Half of those sites will get "inactivity" email from CCBill sooner or later. Ask me how I know that

God knows I'm no SEO expert but sometimes guys like this use sites which don't look like much for interesting help in the SERPS (at my age I am probably talking about some shit from the forties though, I don't know)
Seems like you only pay for the content you buy once and if you aren't spending much then the content which starts some fires should make it worth it extremely . Like bait when you're fishing . I think .

If I need to answer very briefly, than Yes, he Is a genius.
We met and spent time together in Amsterdam 2015 @ the Webmaster Access and I strongly believe that he is a fucking smart man who has Huge knowledge about our industry and besides this he is a very very nice person. I told him this later too, and still think the same: he was the smartest and nicest guy I met this show.
I wish nothing but good to him, he is full of good ideas and does hard work for real, makes very nice money without doing harm to anyone else. I am happy I know him and think of him as closest friends in the industry however we really just met in person on this show [every day though] and do minor business together and had lots of discussion in email/ICQ. They do not make sales and are there for added benefit. But half my sites DO make sales and they fall into 3 categories: daily sales, weekly sales and monthly sales. So, taken together, I am doing ok. And yes, the burnout bug has bit me too at times. I am planning on a Holiday soon as a matter of fact. Best of luck to you Sir!

You have to do both but you are correct. Once you have something to sell the idea is to get more people to your product so that is what I am focusing on later this year moving forward. The only thing my little Porn Kingdom needs is its own in-house traffic sources.

You can make money with old content but it has to be sorted correctly. You'd be surprise how many people get off on weird ass shit. Lets say you have 2 terabytes content from Paul, Gregg and some other defunct content producer. Do you just throw it all out and call your paysite "general porn - come see girls naked"? Nope. You do little bit of research and sort out content for hairy cunts, crackheads .. girls with ingrown toenails. You name it - there's freak out there who gets off on it.Comment

We too have spent a year but developed our own kickass CMS that far surpasses anything available out there. And changes / new modules can be added on the fly.
And we dont have to pay monthly fees for every new site or get raped on design charges from you.Comment
