I use Leaseweb (fantastic network and rock solid virtual servers for cheap), VULTR (much better then digital ocean in my opinion and you can add on Choopa's DDoS protection), Ramnode (well known for their reliability), and I have a $2/month dedicated server from Online.net back when they had their kidechire sale and one of those $10 dedicated servers from Wholesaleinternet.

You don't need to spend a lot on hosting to get quality nowadays, just use failover solutions and keep lots of backups.

For me honestly Mojo or Skynet... I have been using Mojo for a while and have clients who use mojo. THey never let me down are also very responsive to support requests. Skynet I have known the owner for years inside and outside of adult and his tech is solid as well. This is also why I never have just one host
