    Saudi cover-up proves US government complicit in 9/11 terror attacks


    Among the numerous views held by those espousing ?9/11 truth,? one central idea remains the same: The United States government is complicit in the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.

    An article in the New York Post this week, boldly titled ?How US covered up Saudi role in 9/11,? details how the highest levels of the US government not only helped conceal Saudi involvement but assisted the perpetrators in escaping the country.


    The Cover-up

    ?The kingdom?s involvement was deliberately covered up at the highest levels of our government. And the coverup goes beyond locking up 28 pages of the Saudi report in a vault in the US Capitol basement,? Paul Sperry writes. ?Investigations were throttled. Co-conspirators were let off the hook.?

    Everyone from Join Terrorism Task Force members to FBI agents and Virginia law enforcement say that despite evidence leading to the Saudi Embassy in Washington, investigations were derailed repeatedly by higher ups.

    ?Those sources say the pages missing from the 9/11 congressional inquiry report ? which comprise the entire final chapter dealing with ?foreign support for the September 11 hijackers? ? details ?incontrovertible evidence? gathered from both CIA and FBI case files of official Saudi assistance for at least two of the Saudi hijackers who settled in San Diego.?

You posted that like you weren't the one who has been posting bullshit threads on the subject for the past 9 years here and now a SINGLE part of it comes out vaguely backing something we all knew already (from day one) and now EVERYTHING you stated is now true all of a sudden? I don't think so.

                          The 9/11 "Truthers" were not correct. The towers still came down because they were hit by planes. What the government told us is still correct.

                          They just didn't tell us all of it. They didn't tell us about the Saudi connection. However, it surely doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. We pretty much all just assumed there was some kind of Saudi connection.

                          The question now is at what point do we say "The government of Saudi Arabia was directly involved".

                          I feel like the Bush administration covered this up and then lied to us. We knew about the connections the Bush family had with the Saudis, and it seems now we are a a lot closer to the truth.

                                      This seems like the truth at this point. It was terrorists, but many of them were Saudi, including OBL himself. Why would the Saudis get involved? That doesn't make sense. If there was a US Gov connection, that begins to make sense. This might be one of those things we need to wait 50 years to find out the truth.

                                          I do not understand it either, but I also do not begin to fully understand the politics of the Middle East and it's long and vast history. From what I can see, the United States has always had a friendly relationship with the Saudis, they sold us their oil, we made them rich, and we protected them from Iraq when Saddam invaded Kuwait. I understand the United States has handled some things in the Middle East poorly and with horrible results, but our relationship with the Saudis has always been good.

                                          I do not see a US Government connection (yet), but it sure is odd how the Bush administration handled itself directly after 9/11. The Bush family made it's money in oil, and had very close relationships with the Saudis on multiple levels. Instead of detaining these people directly after 9/11 when it was painfully obvious that there was a Saudi connection, the Bush administration went out of it's way to protect these people and quietly escorted them out of the country.

                                          There sure are a lot of unanswered questions here.
