It took him a about 3 years to get to $500/month working an average of 1 hour/day. The point is that this is someone who I thought wouldn't ever make more than $100 a month because he is doesn't know anything about programming or using technology to do the work for you. He only knows basic html and does everything manually.

The trick is he stuck at it long enough for his sites to start generating traffic because he knew how much money i made online and we would talk once in a while and encourage each other.

The overwhelming majority of my income comes from paysite sales. So it's true that paysites still make sales! Consider why so many Programs keep launching new paysites. They wouldn't do this if they didn't make money.

Of course, whether you shoot the content, host the videos, run an Affiliate Program, etc all factor into "profit". But if you are an affiliate then keep promoting paysites because they DO make money! In fact, I checked my stats before posting this and found that 14 different affiliates made sales yesterday alone with Porn Nerd Cash content.

I will say tho that the days of simply throwing up a banner and making killer sales is long over. These days an affiliate really needs to ramp up their paysite promotion in order to compete and see sales. The thing with cams (which is why so many promote them) is you can land a "whale" and see insane amounts of spending whereas with paysites the price is set so you have to do mass volume to see major income. But it CAN be done!

Just an update...

yesterday was my best day so far this year:

US $212 total commissions (6 new paysites sales / 3 rebills)

The dedicated consistent daily work is paying off and the sales are out there.

I just need to make $200 the new daily average

Woke up to a $20 chaturbate commission today

I gotta get on the cam promotions!

#1 - Does it sell?

- everyone's traffic is different, what may sell for one person may not sell for another. The only way you will know if it sells for you is by trial and error. Start sending a sponsor some traffic and see how long it takes to generate a sale. If I see sales in a decent amount of time/traffic I put more work in on that sponsor. The squeaky wheel gets the grease...

I will put more work in pushing more traffic for that sponsor so sales start coming in regularly and look for sponsors with similar content.

#2. if it sells, will I get paid?

This ties in with support. Obviously getting paid is important and you want a sponsor who is responsive and isn't too anal retentive. If I'm putting in work I like to go with established sponsors who release new content regularly which shows they are dedicated to their business.

I'm not big on tools. I know how to code so I build my own SEO tools.

Not everyone is technologically advanced and some people cant be bothered to try and hunt down a certain video to get it for free. some sponsors are releasing some killer content too

Is it building niche sites, sending twitter traffic AND doing Seo for the sites?

Yes building niche seo friendly sites, promoting on twitter and cross promoting between my sites have all been key for me.

3 BIG things that really hit me over the years:

1. Automate as much as you can:

- Years ago I used to do almost everything manually ( hardcoding pages, updating sites with new episodes, saving and uploading pics individually). Then I read the chapter about automation in the book "4 hour work week" and it hit me that I should be setting the computer/server to do all that manual work whenever I can. That saved me a ton of time doing manual work and more time to dream up more ways of making money

2. Repurpose content:

For example - You might have a sponsor with a lot of content that just happen to show a lot of girls in high heels but they dont have a highheel specific niche site to promote. Well you can build a site that hits the "high heel" fetish market using the sponsor episodes showing high heels. Suddenly you are getting highheel seo traffic that you werent getting before.

add the automation principle and voila! you have a good amount of niche sites using the database of content/episodes you already had that gets updated everytime the sponsor releases a video showing that niche. This works well for huge sponsors with 1000s of episodes.

3. Spend time on the tasks that bring home the bacon

I used to spend hours fucking around on things that didnt make me money (wasting time on sponsors who werent selling, reading gfy too much, fixing bugs that weren't a big issue, etc)

Now when I first sit at my laptop every morning I consciously focus on getting a big task done each day that makes my sites/assets more optimized or my traffic more productive generating $$. After a few hours once I find myself fucking around again I know it's time for a break and I log off and get up!

I recently went in one morning a couple weeks ago and fixed up a site i had for years that was just hobbling along (traffic leaks, page errors, not cross promoted) - I knew it needed attention & saw that any signups rebill like a mofo -- look at the results:

Thx for the comprehensive info. You said you interlink your sites. Do you interlink like a PBN and hiding it from google, or you just interlink and do not care?

So you must get massive backlinks for your sites but are they useful for the juice provided they are not treated like a PBN?

I dont use PBN tactics. I link/promote my sites between each other and think of it more of what's useful and convenient from the surfer's perspective and let google do it's thing.

So if it is an interracial scene a surfer is looking at I will show links to other interracial pages/sites I own or links to more scenes for the model they are looking at.

I would say I go for more of a longtail seo strategy.
