    Pagerank gone for good!?

    Hey guys,

    Is it just me or pagerank is now dead for good?
    I notice that starting today, all websites appears with PR0.
    Even the most popular ones, for example facebook.com and wikipedia.org
    Is there any official confirmation regarding this?

      From word on the street it's bye bye. And I don't think it really matters anymore. There is a chrome plugin that will show you page rank while you're on it and I see quite a few established sites going at 1-4 and so on. This day and age I'm not sure what matters anymore.

          If you're targeting other SEs than Google, a lot of them have the same basic idea with linking and PR, but slightly different (Baidu, Yandex, etc.)

          But yeah, Page Rank hasn't been updated in a long time and never will be..

              For the billionth time,.... toolbar PR and Pagerank are not the same thing. Google announced they'd be stopping toolbar pr updates years ago.

                  We will probably not going to be updating it [PageRank] going forward, at least in the Toolbar PageRank.

                  They said it in 2014...

                      But today all websites appeared with PR0, that is totally new...

                          They probably turn off / deleted that public information since it's no longer used.

                                                                                      Yes every website's PR has been publicly disabled and set to 0, only Google will know your true PR from now on.
