3rd world countries have education that is up to par with the USA...whether you write your masters thesis on an apple or a raspberry pi, knowledge is not something that is mysteriously confined to some imaginary man made boarders...
it is very ignorant of him to say "the united states has the worst educational system known to science , our graduates regularly compete at the level of 3rd world graduates"
sure there are 3rd world countries with education problems but most are doing just fine and their student debt is 0$ unlike the 1trillion$ US student debt...it is very arrogant of him to put down 3rd world education like the USA has some sort of monopoly over the ability to teach and to learn...

It's not about overall education rankings. It's about educating the elite of a country so they can compete with other countries.
North Korea, China, Russia can educate enough of its people to build whatever the leaders decide. OK one can't build a Ballistic missile to hit the US. But they're working on it.
