Whats the difference between Premiere and After Effects?
I'm looking for a training classes in my area for Premiere (because I'm so lost at it) and I can only find some for After Effects but not for premiere.
Do they both do the same thing? I just need something for taking long movies and cutting them down into smaller clips. |

AE is more of a video compositing/post-production tool, not an editor..
