    Tech VR & Holo coming faster than you think

    Despite the fact that the consumer versions of products are just beginning to come to market, there is a lot of pinned-up demand for the VR / HOLO tech.
    Some just can't imagine the many uses.
    Having followed this in the dev world, I have got to play with it in a very early stage.
    It was all pretty clear to me what was going to happen.
    Only the names of those who would really make it happen were not so clear to me.

    Only the larger co's that you know of that have made their way to the tech and see the same as I do have made any publicity in the matter.
    There are plenty of start-ups about to bring their stuff to market you have yet to hear about.

    But I am surprised how many can not grasp the future possibilities. Even when they are being done today.

    So I thought I would show a peek at what they have been doing in Microsoft Labs with this.
    No need for a AVATAR here. Can you imagine the possibilities for porn ?
    Definitely the tool for future social media and biz conferences !

    It's going to be a interesting couple of years as this stuff launches finally throughout.
    FaceBook/Oculus, Microsoft, Google/MagicLeap, Sony, Samsung, HTC/Valve, LG, Nokia & more.
    The BIG MONEY has made their bets (we do still need to hear from Apple), the smaller ones will soon follow.

          I can imagine the possibilities for gaming...for porn not so much, all ity comes down to in porn is just watching people fuck...which is already what porn is...so now you can do it in 3D and to some degree choose your own camera angles...just sayin

                                              I remember back in 2009 when we made our first mobile paysite, everyone was saying this kind of thing. We quietly built it then locked in a month long mobile redirect from a - at the time - big site who also didn't believe in mobile traffic.

                                              We kept that redirect for 2.5 years before the guy finally smartened up and built a mobile version of his site.

                                                  My big point of the post was it is coming faster than you think.
                                                  I have learned not to try making the point that the market will change leaving many behind. If they have not learned by now, then they will not ever.

                                                  Granted the tech shown at Microsoft Lab is to pricey for a user, but not for a producer of content. You only need to deliver that content to the HoloLens.

                                                  This brings made to order live experiences to the mainstream. Going to be hard to beat that except for a true live experience or perhaps future pornbot toys in VR.

                                                  But this (ar/holo type) will be very wide spread in just a few years.
                                                  VR on the other hand, is going to be nearly as interesting before the next winter. Many working on new types of VR tech have been silent. That is going to change once the consumer has the devices to make a quick market for a reveal. Nobody is going to release their tech to early and show what they are up to when there was/is no potential for sales. The competition is going to be fierce pretty early (outside of the first year) for VR.

                                                          I dont get it how is VR going to make the viewing experience of porn better or really even different...seriously...

                                                          like I said with gaming ya I get it huge potential because it is so immersive but unless you somehow combine real dolls with the VR porn or something how is VR an improvement?
