although i agree with you that the headline right above the pic is misleading, if you look at the picture, you'd have to be a moron to be misled. I can only clearly make out two faces in that picture, and one is sitting up and reading a book or writing a letter.

And if the article is read, it talks about about helicopters being destroyed. I don't see any helicopters or flaming wreckage in the picture.

The picture doesn't belong in the article, but I doubt it was placed there intentionally to mislead people as only morons would be misled.

I only watch about 2 episodes of it years ago.
I never really got into it , wasnt really interesting to me.

Although i loved the x-files movie that came out.

I think that speaks volumes about the kind of people that get their news there since that picture is obviously meant as an illustration for the accompanying article. It may be a weak attempt to deceive, but it is what it is.
