The Chicago Trump Rally Insanity

I watched and was just amazed at the difference in what I was seeing happening VS what the "reporters" were saying as it happened.

1. First CNN shows a big shot of the streets outside full of thousands of anti-Trump protestors.

2. Then they go inside the arena and the reporter on the ground reports that all day long the local media has been urging anti-Trump people to come to the arena and disrupt the rally and try to shut it down.

3. They report that the police have asked Trump to not hold the rally. The announcement is made inside the arena that it's canceled..

4. Instantly thousands of people in the arena take off their outer shirts to reveal t-shirts with "Fuck Trump" and other anti-Trump stuff and start shooting birds at the people there for the rally. And they start grabbing Trump signs out of people's hands and ripping them up in their faces.

5. Footage is being shown LIVE of the protestors cursing, flipping the finger, and starting fights all over the arena.
And make no mistake about it...the protestors were the ones full of HATE even though they were protesting against it!

6. Cut to the "round table" at CNN.
The announcers speaking in hushed tones blame the entire thing on Trump. They then bring in Neil Bush (brother of George W. and Jeb) and ask him what he thinks. LOL!
WTF do you think he's going to say?
He goes into a rant about how this "proves" that Trump is unqualified to be President (though according to the Constitution EVERYONE is "qualified" to be President...but let's don't let that get in the way).

7. David Gergen, speaking in hushed tones, talks about how "scary" this whole thing was (the police report that there were no arrests and no injuries by the way).
He then goes on to say that Trump is the equivalent of Democrat George Wallace (a complete and total racist).

8. I feel like throwing up listening to this garbage as they continue to crucify Trump when it was clearly the local media in Chicago inciting people to come to the rally and start shit.

hate breeds hate. Trump has incited hate and people have reacted with giving him hate back. It's so fucking funny how you will blame Obama for every thing that happens under the sun, yet here you sit making excuses as if Trump dindu nuttins to deserve his protesters..

Also, if you really felt like throwing up by watching CNN you wouldn't watch it. You just need something that you already know you will dislike to confirm to yourself that everything in Robbie's world is the right way. I think pretty much all news talk show hosts are full of shit.. guess what, I don't watch them therefore I feel no need to throw up.. Amazing right?

Now continue on with the up in coming conservabro circle jerk this thread will soon become.. I know that's all you are after anyway.

No, it wasn't the Koch Brothers.
The shirts were just white T-Shirts that they had scrawled on with Sharpies.

Like I said...the local media in Chicago were encouraging and egging it on all day.

And then CNN reporters (speaking in hushed tones) went on and on about how this was Trump's doing because he "set the tone" by saying things at his rally's when other protestors were thrown out.

It's sort of like...if someone breaks into my house and steals everything, it's MY fault for not being nice to them.

Just watching the live action and listening to how the RNC, the DNC, and the media reacted to it...it was so obviously set up and organized.

My thinking is that this is going to major backfire AGAIN on them. Trump will gain even more support from this.

And I also wondered...since the protestors were chanting "Bernie, Bernie"...then why didn't the media blame Sanders?

And no, I don't think it's Sander's fault any more that I think it's Trump's fault. As I said it was an obvious organized protest that was egged on by the local media.

But if the media is going to blame Trump for what happens at his rallys...well, the people who are CAUSING all of this are the "protestors". And apparently this group was chanting for Bernie.

So using the media's logic...Bernie Sanders should be at fault.
Trump didn't ask for this to happen.

The whole thing is just jaw-dropping to see the obvious attempts to take Trump down. Hell, the reporters don't even hide that anymore. They openly speculate on air how Trump can be defeated.

It's disgusting.

Robbie...

Are you seriously suggesting that Frump isn't responsible in any way for what is going on?

The media didn't make Frump say he would punch people in the face if he could, didn't make him say people should get "roughed up". What sort of positive effect do you think that sort of bullying and violent rhetoric has on a mob mentality?

Your denial of Frump's instigation, race baiting, and threats is getting to be absurd at this point.

Not even protesting but crashing it. I saw the protestors all dengerate losers.

You losers are sick in the head.

When similar things happen at Cruz, Rubio, Clinton, etc. rallies. Then it's the fault of Americans.

If it only happens at Trump rallies it the fault of .............

... the media and their agenda of demonizing Trump.

This all happens exactly as i have predicted several months ago. This is the first stage in a huge anti Trump campaign controlled by the establishment.

Trump's one redeeming attraction is, he isn't like the rest. His ability as President will be limited, he will get cold-shouldered by many politicians around the world. He can't mess with Muslims, China, Mexico or the EU. The US isn't powerful enough.

Can Americans afford for him to increase defence spending and wars?

Can future generations afford his tax cuts?

Can the US afford to mess with people holding US debt? Including US banks.

He appeals to people who think there are quick fixes. Or just want to pay less tax and don't give a fuck about debt.

I am sitting here at McDonald's at 5 a.m. and am the first customer so the (all Hispanic) employees are just hanging out. I just asked them what they think of Trump and all of them hate him. No way will Trump win because the Dems will just pull off vote fraud and have the illegals vote 2 or 3 times. Hillary is the next President so you all might as well get used to it. By the way the food quality at McDonald's is now higher than at Panera.

I am not a Trump supporter but the protesters started this shit and I would never blame Trump, if he said on TV before the rally to bring it on I would.
His words get twisted. People know their ass will be deported but little do they know the president doesn't have as much power as Trump thinks he will have.
They need to just chill out.
Of course this took place in Chicago. No surprise there where someone is shot every day.
He is doing a rally in Ohio in an hour. Lets see how many thugs drive over from Chicago LOL

"hate breeds hate. Trump has incited hate and people have reacted with giving him hate back...."

If Abraham Lincoln were President today the National Guard would be rounding up illegals and arresting every elected official in every "sanctuary city" that voted not to obey the immigration laws. That would actually be enforcing the law, but I guess as long as you disagree with a law you can choose to not enforce it because it is "hate", correct? What about the "hate" involved in knowingly breaking our laws and coming here illegally?

Bopet is defined as weak in brain power, spewing the same shit over and over which some other bopets in the writing department wrote for them...

[a]nd sucker-punched the protester in the face, knocking him to the ground.

The alleged attacker, identified in news reports as John McGraw, later expressed satisfaction over what he had done to activist Rakeem Jones, telling an interviewer that the best thing about it was "knocking the hell out of that big mouth." Mr. McGraw went on to add that "we don't know who he is, but we know he's not acting like an American. The next time we see him, we might have to kill him." (The next day the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office announced Mr. McGraw had been taken into custody and charged with assault and disorderly conduct in connection with the incident.)

Yet Mr. Trump, who was still standing on the podium as the scene unfolded, seemed unperturbed by the violence. His response was of a piece with the candidate's earlier apparent indifference to such incidents, and indeed of his own oft-expressed desire to physically confront his detractors. At a campaign event in Nevada last month Mr. Trump said of a protester there that "I'd like to punch him in the face," and last year he dismissed a heckler involved in a scuffle with police in Birmingham, Ala., by saying "maybe he should have been roughed up." Trump has also offered to pay the legal expenses of people arrested for assaulting hecklers at his events in Kentucky, where former Towson University student Matthew Heimbach, who founded a "White Student Union" at the school, was involved in a shoving match earlier this month with protesters in Louisville. ...

Pussy-ass Trump fled Chicago with his tail between his legs as he boarded Hair Force One.

The Trump rally has been cancelled this Sunday in Cincinnati also.

Trump's future rallies may be televised?

The Republican Convention is to be held at the "Mistake on the Lake'" Cleveland, OH, a minority controlled city. There is a good chance the shit will fly at the convention. Don't expect Obama to federalize the Ohio National Guard when the shit hits the fans.

Trump is playing the media for publicity -- that is the only thing the demagogue is good at

"I watched and was just amazed at the difference in what I was seeing happening VS what the "reporters" were saying as it happened."

It is that way on every channel. You can listen to Fox, CNN, or MSNBC and there is always a talking head or two saying that Trump must be stopped and talking about how "The Establishment" plans to do it. Seriously, I can't remember the last time I saw any channel with a talking head actually promoting Trump's positions. Fox has probably had more Sanders supporters on air than Trump ones. There is not even an illusion of impartiality in most of the media now, which is truly scary.

Speaking of which, your post made this Howard Beale rant from "Network" come to mind.

I was being facetious about the Koch brothers. Democrats like blaming them for everything wrong in campaigns. I'm not into conspiracy theories but I do find it highly suspicious that St. Louis had similar issues (with arrests) but is getting much less exposure.

Chicago, Obama, and Rahm grew up on "community organizing," it would be silly to ignore the possibility that someone (Democrat or Republican) orchestrated the whole event, especially since our fair and balanced media was so on the ball.

What's extremely amusing is that the media still hasn't realized they are the ones fueling his fire. Oh well, they're selling more ads, right?

Every general election year is a multi-billion advertising revenue bonanza when you add up the money spent on direct ads for Presidential, Congressional, Gubernatorial and local elections. The "pre-game" ad revenue of the campaigns' reporting for the year prior to the elections must really rack up the total

They did the same in Boulder. They choose one of the most liberal cities in the state to host the Republican debate.

They easily could of picked Colorado Springs you know where the conservabro crazy guy shot up the planned parenthood building. Lots of conservatives there.

Battle of the Billionaires -- too funny.

The victims think they are the contestants -- that is either funnier or really pathetic.

I was watching CNN this morning.

The anchor asked a Sanders Campaign official if Bernie Sanders should be held accountable for his supporters instigating all the trouble at Chicago.

The Sanders official said "no". That Trump's supporters are full of hate and that their supporters were there having a Muslim prayer on their knees on the floor in a completely peaceful protest.

WTF????

The ones I saw were jumping up and down, flipping the bird, wearing shirts and carrying signs that said "Fuck Trump" and tearing up people's Trump signs and ripping them up in their faces while bullying them.

It's unreal.

The media keeps repeating the mantra that Trump is full of "hate".

Anyone who saw that mess in Chicago can decide for themselves whom the hateful people there were.

I bet you would of complained, if people tore up Nazi signs pre-world war II.

It's very simple Robbie, everyone is sick of the right wing extreemism and people aren't going to stand by idly and let someone like Trump get elected.

He is a bigot and a extreemist and people will not stand for that in a presidential election. You can cry foul all you want wearing your rose colored glasses but the rest of us won't stand by and let someone like him ruin this country.

No one is protesting any of the other Republican candidates like this. No matter how much you try to paint it as liberals hating on the right.. It's not.. It's people of this country standing up to a fuckwad and not allowing our country to become another Nazi Germany.

lol it's obvious that this was a move to create a backlash against his enemies. there was no real threat.

and everyone takes the bait.

it's scary how good he is at playing the population of the US. and it feels like he is just getting warmed up and testing his powers and their limits. will be interesting to see what he does when he gets fully warmed up and in control of his powers.

Shitty move liberals. Attacking, bullying people about their personal choice for Potus shows a complete LACK of tolerance. Liberals spewing hate thinking that's OK, because you know, Trump, it's not OK.
